I am currently in my 16th year of teaching, all of them here at BGM. I have taught sixth grade for 14 of those years with
my first two years in fifth grade. I am currently the head high school volleyball coach (five years) as well as co-head jr.
high girls basketball coach (15 years). I am also involved in Elementary Character Council, Character Counts Committee, as
well as our Building Student Assistance Team (BSAT). I am a graduate of Waverly-Shell Rock High School in 1988 and The University
of Northern Iowa in 1993. I have two children, Meredith (a seventh grader) and Jayce (a fourth grader). My hobbies include:
Chasing my children with all of their activities, playing sand volleyball, reading, painting during the summer, and unfortunately,
sitting and vegging out in front of the t.v.
